Everything Changes pt1

3 Years had passed since the Dendrobati's decent onto earth. Life was changing for everyone, Brolli was now a successful chief of surgery at the general city hospital. Surpassing all expectations set by many biased doctors and nurses. None however could deny his youthful experience and knowledge. He was the best the hospital had ever gotten. With two children and another on the way the 30 year old was very satisfied with his life so far.

Loki the hunky mechanic and engineer was well on the way to starting up his own mechanic shed. He had earned himself a respectable reputation throughout the city at being able to do any of the most complicated repairs, in most cases under a day. He had long since finished the 'relationship' with his cheating girlfriend. Fully understanding why Babi had referred to her so many times as the 'floozie' still. He was gutted at how it ended but is now looking for something with more substance than just physical aspects.

Jojo the gentle giant was still as cheerful and mild as ever. He had begun to take up pottery, wanting to work creating something with his hands rather than unintentionally destroying things with them. He still has the very delicate mind frame of a child, however is slowly beginning to open his mind to some of the things in the world. Letting himself 'grow' up a little and slowly beginning to act like the 26 year old he is, becoming more independent but is still an unbelievable momma's boy.

Zeik has also made some changes for the better. He is starting to slowly become trusting of others again. He is still withdrawn but it is no longer in a bid to ward people off. He is beginning to face his inner demons and although he still has very many bad days. There are starting to become more and more little show's of light. One of the most significant things that he has done was to re-join his family at meal times. Sometimes nibbling. Sometimes not, he however is forcing himself to come to terms with his unhealthy obsession with food, and how it is not all bad. He also has a few new tattoo's, of course Babi was blissfully unaware of them.

Maki, still going long and strong with Luka. The 22 year old though still short-tempered his fuse had gotten longer. Slightly. He had found that he was beginning to develop a slow sense of… maturity. He was starting to understand just what it meant to be a man. And not just a man. What it meant to be a brother, a lover, a friend. How that things were expected of him and he was going to lessen up on the dangerous activates which involved getting shit faced and showing off, much to the worrying raccoon's delight. He is also discovering that it is okay to lead a life separate from his twin. However… The feeling isn't exactly mutual.

Kai, is in the midst of a 'fallout' with Maki. Feeling hurt and betrayed at how the red skinned man has moved out of the house and is currently 'crashing' with Luka. He feels abandoned, he wasn't being petty… well.. Not overly petty. It's his temper that seems to be leading him around these days. And it's because of his temper that an accident happened An accident that both saved him, and scarred him.

It started off as a normal day, it was approaching Christmas. Kimi's favorite time of the earth year. The 20 year old was giddy with excitement as she decorated the gingerbread house her mother had made. Unaware of the impending diabetes that lurked were anyone to actually eat it. Smiling to herself she padded over to the window glancing out onto the garden. The only downside was that there was a limited amount of snow. But still she wasn't going to allow it to dampen her mood.

She had all her Christmas presents brought, including an outfit for herself. The petite purple princess was impressed with herself on her growing ability to hold back on her shopping expenses. Turning from the window her smile grew. Tomorrow Mika would be returning with Lei and Luka from a surfing competition on an ice ridden planet. They would be joining them for the holiday festives and quite honestly she couldn't wait to see her best friend. She missed him horribly. She could only imagine how much Maki was missing Luka.

At that thought her grin instantly faded.

Maki.

It had been almost a month since him and Kai had spoken to each other. Sunday dinner was getting more and more tense as of late, although neither was stupid enough to start a spat right in front of Mama and Papi there was always a lingering chill in the air. Blowing a strand of hair from her freckled face Kimi frowned. It was Christmas, surely they should be able to patch things up by now. It was the season of good will! Hugs cheer and presents. Surely they would both be able to stop being… being.. Being boys about the whole thing and just say sorry!.

She sighed. Honestly she didn't even know how the argument had started in the first place!

With her lip puckered out in thought she wondered if maybe all they needed was a little push to get everything out. A small smile curved on her delicate features. Well if it was a push they wanted. It was a push she was going to give!.
